POCONO PINES, PA - For all the winter recreational opportunities for which the Pocono Mountains are known, the Wild Pines at Pinecrest Lake community in Pocono Pines is redefining resort-style living with a wealth of on-site and nearby year-round activities, as well.
“Just as our spacious homes are designed for all-year living comfort, the location of Wild Pines brings an unmatched level of recreational advantages for every season,” remarked Neil DeLuca, President of Pinecrest Lake Homes, the community’s builder. “The many families already residing here chose Wild Pines as either a 12-month retreat or a primary residence.”
Indeed, the fun opportunities for homeowners transcend skiing at the nearby Camelback Ski Area, or the hiking, snow mobiling, cross-country skiing and ice skating available on Wild Pines’ over 1,400 acres of pristine community grounds, as DeLuca explained. “When spring arrives, the 18-hole golf course opens and the community morphs into a whole different mode,” he said. “Activity on our jogging trails heats up, and residents start to get excited about the community swimming pool, boating on Pinecrest Lake or lounging on its beach. No matter what the time of year, there’s always something to do at Wild Pines.”
Highlighted by sweeping mounting views, the homes at Wild Pines live up to both their rustic setting and the builder’s impeccable reputation. Homebuyers can choose from five models in ranch or two-level designs ranging in size from 1,700 sq. ft. to 2,700 sq. ft. State-of-the-art kitchens, spacious family and living rooms, formal dining rooms and private master suites with lavish bathrooms depict the year-round persona of the community.
Several functional and aesthetic options are available, including screened porches, whirlpool tubs, central vacuum systems, hardwood flooring, upgraded countertops, “bonus” rooms and complete landscaping packages. “We are doing everything imaginable to distinguish Wild Pines as the Pocono region’s year-round resort community of choice,” DeLuca said.
Wild Pines is located in convenient Monroe County, with easy access to I-80, the Hickory Run and Lehigh Gorge State Parks, the Lehigh River, the historic Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Great Wolf Water Park and The Crossings Shopping Outlets, and Mount Airy Lodge.

Social Activities Abound

to retire in a community that had many social activities available for
